We are again excited to present an outdoor informal performance, free for our community’s enjoyment and our singing pleasure.
Sunday, June 6, 3:30 to 4:00, we will return to the Riverwalk Amphitheater in West Columbia (Gervais Street Bridge and Meeting Street). Come early and you can catch our warm-ups at 3:00. Concrete seating so bring a chair if desired. Music for the whole family. You could make it a picnic and take a walk down along the river, too.
Here is a recording of the Star Spangled Banner, recorded in November 2020. We are set to sing the SSB at the Fireflies game on August 31, 2021. Ask us about tickets.
Scholarship: Watch for our Guthrie Darr Scholarship auditions in early 2022. This scholarship provides for private choral lessons. If you would like more information on how local 10th, 11th, or 12th graders may apply, please email the management [dot] choralsociety [at] gmail [dot] com
Want to join the Columbia Choral Society in the Fall? Auditions will probably be in August. More information here: https://www.columbiachoralsociety.org/audition/
Your support May 4 via Midland’s Gives was greatly appreciated!
We express our sincerest appreciation to all individuals and groups whose support enables us to continue the performance of choral masterworks for the community. Two specific supporters are the South Carolina Arts Commission and the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation Advised Fund, administered through the Central Carolina Community Foundation. Thank you!
