Spring 2024
March 23: Mozart’s Requiem. The Columbia Choral Society and the Florence Masterworks Choir will join their 140 voices with the SC Philharmonic at the Koger Center in Columbia, SC, to present Mozart’s final composition: Requiem. The concert will open with a contemporary work by Mexican composer Gabriela Ortiz, La Calaca. Principal Horn Ken Turner comes to the front of the orchestra to perform Richard Strauss’ Horn Concerto No. 1. The concert continues with the Requiem.

“Leaving a Legacy” – Thank you for attending!
Caroling at the Historic Columbia Holiday Tours on December 9th was great! The holiday tours continue through December 30th.
December 11: “Sing-Along Messiah” – It was a wonderful experience singing this awesome piece under Dr. Lillian Quackenbush’s amazing direction and with so many voices and instrumentalists!
